Short answers to the questions players ask most about the Path of Exile 2 full release.

Path of Exile 2 1.0 comes out on December 11, 2026 (PST) and is free to play. It has six acts and nine of the twelve planned classes, including the new Duelist, on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The launch hour, the 1.0 patch notes and the league setup are not announced yet; they are expected after the ExileCon reveal on November 6.

Frequently asked questions

When does PoE 2 1.0 come out?
On December 11, 2026, Pacific time. In Australia, New Zealand and much of Asia that is Saturday, December 12, local time.
What time does PoE 2 1.0 launch?
Not announced yet. Every earlier launch went live at 8:00 AM New Zealand time, which would be 11:00 AM PST (19:00 UTC) on December 11; treat that as an estimate.
Will Path of Exile 2 be free on full release?
Yes. From December 11, 2026 it is free to play. Cosmetic items and extra stash tabs remain optional purchases.
Do I need to buy an early access pack now?
No. Early access packs are leaving the store, and the full release is free to play.
Will PoE 2 wipe at 1.0?
The developer's early access FAQ says no: early access characters stay in their league after launch. How the 1.0 leagues are organised has not been announced.
How many acts are in PoE 2 1.0?
Six acts: the four in the game today and the final two.
Will all classes be in PoE 2 1.0?
No. Nine of twelve are confirmed, including the new Duelist; Marauder, Templar and Shadow are not announced for launch.
Is PoE 2 1.0 on PS5 and Xbox?
Yes, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as well as PC, with cross-play and cross-progression on one account.
Is PoE 2 on Mac or Steam Deck?
There is no native Mac version. The game is Steam Deck Verified since September 24, 2026.
Can I play PoE 2 offline?
No. Path of Exile 2 needs an internet connection, including in single-player and Solo Self-Found.
How do I get the full-release rewards?
Register at pathofexile2.com/register with an email address before December 11 (PST). Codes arrive by email after launch; owning early access does not register you.
When is ExileCon 2026?
November 6–8, New Zealand time, in Auckland. The keynote with the 1.0 reveal starts on November 6 at 1:00 PM PST (21:00 UTC).
When will the 1.0 patch notes be out?
No date yet. If the 8-day gap of 0.4 and 0.5 holds, about December 3, 2026.
Are there Twitch Drops for the 1.0 launch?
Not announced yet. Past launch drops were announced one to three days ahead; you link your Path of Exile account to Twitch in your account settings and watch Path of Exile 2 streams.
